Holly Sawyer, PhD, LPC, CAADC has been providing mental health/substance abuse disorder treatment in a variety of settings and populations for over 5 years. She has also been working in both K-12 and higher education for 16 years. Dr. Holly Sawyer specializes in co-occurring disorders rooted in trauma, women issues, depression, anxiety or stress. She is a determined, loving, loyal and perceptive therapist. Dr. Holly listens quietly and attentively, remembering details to tell truths that need to be spoken. She believes in meeting the client where they are, with the client being the expert on their own life. Dr. Holly works collaboratively with clients using therapeutic tools rooted in CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Reality Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and other modalities as appropriate. Dr. Holly is a mother to a teen on the autism spectrum and helps other special needs parents navigate resources.
